The Caligo is a butterfly that takes flight only at dusk. On its wings, two vast eyes stare back at whoever observes it: an image so precise it unsettles the gaze.

CALIGO was born from this idea. An image only truly exists once it is seen — and felt.

A video production company based in Switzerland, CALIGO conceives and produces wedding films, brand films, commercials, corporate videos and documentaries for those who refuse the ordinary. From script to post-production, every project is a metamorphosis: an intention becomes a story, a story becomes an image, and the image becomes an emotion that lingers.

    In pre-production, every detail is considered ahead of time — scouting, casting, crew, lighting, scheduling — so the shoot serves a single vision.

    Capture

    On set, we film with rigour and instinct, with a lean crew or a full-scale production. Framing, light, movement: nothing is left to chance, and everything stays alive.

    Elevate

    In post-production, the image finds its rhythm, its colour and its voice: editing, colour grading, sound design, motion design and cut-downs for web and social media.

CALIGO produces wedding films, brand films, commercials for television, cinema and online, corporate and institutional videos, documentaries, event coverage and social media content. Every film is made to measure, around your message and your audience.

How much does a video production cost?

The budget depends on the length of the film, the number of shooting days, the size of the crew, the locations and the post-production. After a first conversation, we send you a detailed, transparent and no-obligation quote tailored to your goals.

How long does it take to make a film?

A brand film or a commercial usually takes four to eight weeks, from script to delivery. Event coverage can be delivered within a few days. We set a precise schedule as soon as the project starts.

Where do you film?

Based in Switzerland, CALIGO films throughout Switzerland and internationally. We handle location scouting, filming permits and all production logistics.

How does a production with CALIGO work?

In four stages: development (concept and script), pre-production (scouting, casting, scheduling), the shoot, then post-production (editing, colour grading, sound). A single point of contact guides you from the first meeting to delivery.

Can you create the concept and write the script?

Yes. We can start from a simple intention: we develop the creative concept and write the script. We also produce projects already written by your agency or your teams.

Do you make wedding films?

Yes. We film weddings with the same exacting care as our productions: a cinematic, heartfelt film of your day, from the preparations to the evening, always discreet. Get in touch as soon as your date and venue are set.

In which formats do you deliver videos?

We deliver broadcast-ready files, up to 4K: landscape for your website, television or cinema, vertical and square formats for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, with subtitles and French, English or German versions on request.

Who owns the usage rights to the film?

Usage rights — duration, territories and media — as well as music and talent rights are clearly defined in the quote. You know exactly where and for how long you can broadcast your film.
